A MEMORABLE MAY ~

This month, the City of Southside was honored to participate in many notable events:

Southside Fifth Grade Graduation;

Two exemplary students were presented Keys to the City;

Fifth Graders enjoyed a day of fishing at Inzer Farm;

City employees, council and the mayor enjoyed Kid’s Day at Keenum Lake;

Soon-to-be Panther graduate, Rachel Reid received the Mayor’s Cup;

Mayor and council attended the ALM Convention;

The Etowah County Board of Education and the City of Southside are working together to implement lighting for the practice field at Barney Hood Stadium; with the city awarding a check at the May 24th council meeting!
