Beginning Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, South 11th Street will be closed to thru traffic from Randall Street to Black Creek Parkway as reconstruction work on the road moves into a new phase.
Drivers traveling through the area should use Randall Street, Hickory Street and Central Avenue as a detour (click here for large version), while alternate routes will be available for local traffic.
Drivers should also use caution when driving through construction areas and residential neighborhoods.
This phase of the South 11th Street Reconstruction Project requires demolishing the existing roadway and rebuilding the road’s base.
Further updates regarding the detour will be given in the future as the project progresses.
