Gadsden State Community College is enticing current students to register for spring semester by offering drawings for scholarships and other prizes.

“It’s important for students to go ahead and register for their spring classes,” said Dr. Janekia Mitchell, dean of Student Services. “The earlier they register, the more likely they are to get in the classes they need to earn a credential from Gadsden State.”

Gadsden State is having drawings for the following prizes. Current students who register by Dec. 12 are eligible.

  • Four tuition scholarships for any three-hour course
  • Two $500 book and supplies scholarships
  • Two $100 VISA cards
  • 2 Gadsden State swag bags with $50 gift cards to the Gadsden State Bookstore

The drawings will be held on Dec. 13. Winners will be posted on Gadsden State’s social media platforms, and they will be notified by Enrollment Services.

“This promotion is designed to encourage students to get a jump on spring registration by offering them prizes that will help them during their educational journey,” Mitchell said. “Registering now for classes could potentially earn them scholarships but they will also be rewarded in the end when they begin a rewarding, lucrative career after graduating from Gadsden State.”
