The closure of Noccalula Falls Park has been extended, and the Park will remain closed after Oct. 8 to allow for the continued construction of new train tracks.
The park will open temporarily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, for the Trick or Treat Village, which will take place without the trains.
The new, electric trains are expected to make their debut when the Park reopens on Nov. 24, the first night of Christmas at the Falls.
The closure will continue to affect only the paid portion of the park, and the following areas will remain open: Black Creek Trails (which includes access to the gorge trail from the Black Creek Trails), the overlook to view Noccalula Falls, the playground area, Noccalula Falls Campground, and the rental pavilions.
The Mini Golf course will remain open every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through the end of October.
